MOWAX (molybdenum wax) is a solid lubricant produced by using a solid lubricant "molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)" that has excellent antiseizing capability as the base compound. Since the lubricant is solidified using a lubrication wax, the product forms a dry lubrication film, which is different from grease. The wax can be applied very easily by simply building it into a machine. Since the product forms a dry film, it is most suitable for sections where oil and grease cannot be applied and sections that are sensitive to fluff. Through its self lubricant coating capability, a lubricant film is formed immediately on the peeled surface of base material, achieving longer lubrication cycle and simplification of lubrication on difficult areas.

Applied for patent Molybdenum disulfide has a heat resistance of 350 or higher, but the product is softened under the environment of 70 or higher due to the melting point of the lubricant wax. Note that the product may not be able to maintain its shape.
